Managing Director

Jo is passionate about The Blue Baths; the building, the business and the people. Seeing the company evolve has been the pay-off for Jo; the restoration and re-opening of the building in 1999 the development of sister premise Terrace Kitchen, the growth of the off-site catering company and the fun of producing live theatre have all been career highlights! With 20 years in hospitality and tourism behind her, Jo still gets a kick from seeing the creation of innovative new events, themes and entertainment options. When not at work, Jo can generally be found playing with her grandchildren or on the family farm at Lake Tarawera.

Natasha is an organisational whizz with a Diploma in Hotel Management backed by many years of industry experience. Armed with a real desire to surpass client expectations and a legendary eye for detail, Tash has a true appreciation of the needs of brides - having held her own wedding ceremony in the Redwoods at Whakarewarewa Forest and reception in Blue Baths Lido Lounge! “Downtime” is spent busy with her young family and, when she can fit it in, walking, gardening, wine-tasting and pursuing her love of travel.

Hey, I’m Alice! Sales + Event Coordinator and proud owner of my two (non-human) babies – Buck and Gary! Originally from the UK (which is where I started my vast experience in events) before settling down in NZ and becoming a true Kiwi. Coffee, Pinterest and Online Shopping are a few of my favourite things (I do run occasionally…), but my passion is weddings and events, styling and creating on trend, fresh and unique concepts that always bring the wow-factor to weddings or corporate events alike. I love that I get to meet so many different people in my role; to make their dreams a reality and create an extra special event no matter how big or small.

Meet Claudia! A proud mum of two gorgeous kids – Bree and Dylan and our Operations and Event Manager. In her down time if she's not at work or spending time with the family, you’ll find her enjoying a glass of Pinot. With 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, her knowledge and hands-on approach has enabled her to create incredible and bespoke events. Being busy (if not hectic) and watching events come together is her happy place.

I have been in the hospitality and tourism industry since 1995, working for the top cultural attractions such as Tamaki Tours & Te Puia as a cultural performer and restaurant manager.
I have represented NZ over seas as a Cultural Performer and teacher in the following countries Germany, Hawaii, Korea and Utah along with a bachelor’s in Maori Performing Arts majoring in dance.
I execute events to the highest standard whilst remaining calm under pressure and leading the team to deliver outstanding events with my bubbly personality and stella smile!

Hi I'm Dipti! Realistic, Reliable and Responsible. I believe in 'never stop learning' as life never stops teaching. Originally from India where guests are equivalent to God. Hence in love and passionate about the magical world of events where you don't deal with machines but see emotions and create cheerful memories for your clients. With 9 yrs of experience and education in Hospitality and Business management, this has helped me to be a hard working professional. Outside of work I keep myself busy by watching movies, home cooking and spending quality time with my husband.

Blue Baths’ executive chef Timo Dicker has over 20 years of diverse culinary experience which has evolved into a cooking style he enjoys. For Timo finesse is key and he creates clear, simple, high-quality menus utilising the best of New Zealand’s produce. Determination, passion, and the support of a dynamic team drive him to continually hone his craft and create unique takes on established dishes and flavours. When not in the kitchen, Timo enjoys travel, photography, and getting out and about on his mountain bike.

Finance Manager

Michelle holds a NZ Diploma in Business Management and NZIM Certificate in Management which is backed by 28 years of Accounting, Financial and Business experience in the commercial sector. Michelle is new to the Hospitality industry, but is enjoying the vast diversity, meeting lots of new people and the positive team environment, which she sees translated into fabulous events for a variety of customers. Outside of work Michelle is mother to daughter Ashleigh who is doing Mum proud at University. Michelle is also an avid Latin Dancer who has competed and performed at national level, having participated in dance festivals nationally and overseas. Dance has blended well with Michelle’s love of travel which has most recently taken her to Cuba and South America.

Our lovely accounts assistant Kathy has over 40year administration experience in various industries and works part-time to help Michelle with the day to day running of the Administration department of the business, which includes Terrace Kitchen and our busy off=site catering division.
In her spare time Kathy likes to Quilt and sew, and spend time in the garden
